Phyllis Parthemer's Bio
Phyllis Parthemer earned her Bachelor of Science in Special Education and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She began her career as a special education teacher, where she discovered her lifelong passion for helping others reach their fullest potential.
Following the birth of her second child, Phyllis felt called into ministry and pursued a Master of Arts in Religion (MAR) in seminary. She was later ordained in the United Church of Christ, serving faithfully as a pastor, teacher, and pastoral counselor.
Combining her background in education and ministry, Phyllis founded a vibrant ministry for adults with disabilities. She currently serves as a LEAP Specialist and in-person Camp Director, continuing her mission to create spaces where individuals of all abilities can grow spiritually, socially, and personally.
Phyllis’s passion is helping people with disabilities discover their God-given gifts and live with confidence, purpose, and joy.
