Joseph R. Fields, Jr., Esq. is an AV-rated attorney with decades of experience advocating for clients in personal injury, wrongful death, family law, and disability discrimination cases. A graduate of the University of Central Florida (BA, Allied Legal Studies) and Stetson University College of Law, he has practiced in Palm Beach County since 1986.
Admitted to the Florida and Federal Bars in 1987, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in 1988, and the U.S. Supreme Court Bar in 1993, Mr. Fields is widely respected for his tenacious representation of the injured, disabled, and families in legal disputes. He has served on multiple Florida Bar committees, including Family Law, Military Affairs, Special Needs of Children, and Client Relations.
His community involvement includes board service with SunFest, the Palm Beach County Human Rights Council, the Coalition for Independent Living Options, Opera Fusion, and the Palm Beach Sailing Club, where he is the first five-time Past Commodore.
A nationally recognized ADA expert, Mr. Fields testified before Congress in 2000 and co-authored West Palm Beach’s landmark Equal Opportunity ordinance. He is a member of several legal organizations and the Million and Multimillion Dollar Verdict Club.
A Palm Beach County resident for over 30 years, he enjoys sailing, traveling, and motorcycle touring in his free time.
