Accessible Lifesaving Education for at Risk Teens


The Coalition for Independent Living Options provides an after-school and summer program serving youth and young adults aged 14-26 with disabilities and special needs.

Our program follows the school district calendar for holidays.

During  the school year the program operates Monday through Friday from 3PM -6PM.  During the summer the program operates Monday through Thursday 8AM through 5PM.

The ALERT program offers homework and tutorial assistance.

Youth/young adults learn and build on  their independent living skills such as:

¨ Money Management

¨ Cooking and Kitchen Safety

¨ How to do laundry

¨ Job Training

¨ Accessing Public Transportation

¨ Conflict Resolution

¨ HIV and pregnancy prevention

We welcome youth/young adults  throughout Palm Beach County to join us.
