CILO’s Treasure Coast Services cover Martin, St. Lucie & Okeechobee Counties.

CILO’s Treasure Coast Services offer the four core services:

  • ADVOCACY
  • INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS
  • PEER SUPPORT
  • INFORMATION & REFERRAL
     


CILO’s Treasure Coast also offers:

ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT
CILO accepts donations and makes free loans of wheelchairs, walkers, bath/shower chairs, commodes, and other adaptive equipment to adults and children with disabilities.

VOTER REGISTRATION
CILO assists citizens with disabilities to register to vote and works for equal access at polling places and in voting equipment.

DISABILITY AWARENESS & SENSITIVITY TRAINING
CILO trains employers, schools, corporations and others on disability rights, etiquette, communication and terminology.

CRIME VICTIM ASSISTANCE:
CILO provides support and advocacy to people with disabilities who are victims of crime. This Treasure Coast program includes Indian River County

TRANSPORTATION FUNDING AND SUPPORT

A United Way of Martin County grant enables CILO to fund taxi rides for low income Martin County residents with disabilities in need of recurring transportation trips to medical appointments, vocational training, or work. A grant award will be supplemented with travel training.
